The small church or hermitage of Senhor Jesus dos Passos, old hermitage of S. João until about 1800.
It is located in Largo da Portela, with the front to the old Rua Direita, in Monchique.
It has a single altar, where the images of the Lord Jesus, Saint Joseph and Saint Bridget are venerated. The image of Senhor dos Passos is the most venerated after Nossa Senhora da Conceição and must have been exposed to the cult between the years 1795 and 1803.
